The Ciutat de Palma Trophy is back — and for its third edition, the Paddle Games are taking another step forward.
On 19 September, against the spectacular backdrop of Palma Cathedral, the Real Club Náutico de Palma will once again bring some of the world’s best paddlers into the heart of the city for an afternoon of fast, intense and unpredictable racing.
Every year, we challenge ourselves to evolve the format, experiment with new ideas and find better ways to showcase our sport. 2026 will be no different.
Here’s a first taste of what’s coming:
– Canoe racing for the first time — Olympic medallists, world champions and some of the world’s top canoe athletes will join the Paddle Games.
– More opportunities to race — an expanded Open Category giving more paddlers the chance to line up alongside our Elite Team athletes.
– Mixed K2 racing — with every result contributing towards the overall Team Ranking.
– A new approach to sport presentation — using technology and innovation to bring spectators closer to the speed, power and drama of canoe sprint.
Three years ago, Paddle Games started with a simple ambition: to bring canoeing to where the people are.
This September, we keep pushing that idea forward.
More athletes. More innovation. More excitement.
Palma, get ready. The Paddle Games are coming back.
