As many of you know, at Paddle Games we are driven by a passion for innovation and collaboration with forward-thinking companies. We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with QUKO, a brand specialising in technology solutions for paddle sports.
Thanks to this collaboration, during the upcoming 2025 edition we will deploy QUKO’s Kosoku devices, capable of providing real-time boat and athlete performance metrics, along with interactive, detailed post-race reports. While this season’s rollout will be a pilot programme with limited reach, we believe it represents a significant step forward in raising the technological standards of paddle sports.
The Kosoku device captures real-time data on boat dynamics, logging every stroke and measuring speed, acceleration, cadence, and other technical and biomechanical variables. The data is processed through the QUKO Cloud platform, which transforms raw figures into clear visualisations and insights for athletes, coaches, and technical teams.
This year, a selected group of boats will be equipped with Kosoku devices, giving paddlers the chance to experience the benefits first-hand. After each race, every participant whose boat used the system will receive an interactive performance report via QUKO Cloud — complete with graphs, comparisons, and technical analyses designed to support improvement and refine race strategies.
The aim of the Paddle Games x QUKO initiative is not only to innovate, but also to set a precedent: introducing cutting-edge technology into high-performance paddle sports. We recognise that accurate information can make the difference in preparation, execution, and strategic adaptation. We want our athletes to have every possible resource to optimise their performance.
Although this year’s deployment remains experimental — focused on gathering data, identifying opportunities, and refining the process — we already envisage a future where every participant can access these tools. Our goal is to move from limited to comprehensive access.
We invite coaches and paddlers interested in taking part with an instrumented boat or collaborating to help extend this technology’s reach to get in touch.
At Paddle Games, we believe sport evolves when passion meets innovation. Together with QUKO, we are opening a new era of paddle competition — where paddling is not only about strength, but also about precision, strategy, and data.
